About the Role:
Job Title: UI Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- The UI Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining production-grade front-end applications for the customer.
- The UI Developer will work with Product Managers, internal stakeholder business units, Data Science and Analytics teams to deploy full-stack front-end cloud-based web applications meeting product requirements
- Collaborate with Architecture, Infrastructure and Data Science teams to translate their needs or challenges into production-grade Front End client-side and server-side architectures
- Work with User Experience designer/developer to design templates for batch, real-time streaming and edge deployments through appealing, user-friendly and responsive visual design
- Write effective Application Program Interfaces (APIs), develop and manage well-functioning Front End semantic databases and applications
- Troubleshoot, debug, test and upgrade software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency including security and data protection configurations
- Design and build automated unit tests and integration tests for Front End code deployments
- Build and implement monitoring and alerting framework for Front End deployments
- Effectively communicate architectures and technical details with partners
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Front End technology stack and identify opportunities for the team to implement new models and technologies
- Follow an agile development methodology including Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5+ years of related software development experience
- Experience with TypeScript, Angular 8+, JSON, XML
- Understanding of AWS services like EC2, S3, SNS/SQS/ Lambda, IAM, ECS, EKS, Fargate etc
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Java Spring Framework
- Experience in service based development
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Git, and GitHub/GitLab.
- Experience with containerized microservices
Location: Reston, VA OR Plano, TX (Hybrid 2 days per week)
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $70,000 – $130,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
