“The most important skill sets we are hiring for right now include product engineering, cloud, data analytics and AI, quality engineering and experience engineering. We are also upskilling employees to work around the metaverse – we have received traction in the area of gaming, so we are preparing employees to address the next level of metaverse around AR/VR, virtual worlds and backend of metaverse – Web3.0,” Karthik Krishnamurthy, Chief Executive Officer, told ET.
Ascendion, a full-service digital engineering company headquartered in New Jersey, is looking to ramp up its India presence. The company’s global headcount is about 6,000, out of which about 2,000 are in India, spread across the Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad centres. It is looking to hire another 1,000-odd employees in India.
